Bedrooms can be designed in many ways. People with different personalities live in oh-so different bedrooms. For example, you can't expect a person who is into gothic ideas to have a bedroom filled with dolls and other girly things. Despite that fact, a bedroom won't be a bedroom without basic bedroom furniture. Bedrooms may be designed in various ways but there will always be that basic bedroom furniture which you will surely find in every bedroom.

1. Bed. Can you ever imagine a bedroom without a bed? Beds do come in different types and forms as well as size, but it is still a bed. This is where you sleep which allows your body to regenerate and recharge. The bed is composed of a mattress, a pair of pillows or more and of course a blanket. Those three have to be present if you want to have a very comfortable bed.

2. Closet. Where else will you store your clothes? Can you picture out a bedroom without a closet? Well, like the bed, closets come in various types too. But whatever type it is, it has one specific function and that is to keep clothes in its tip top shape.

Some bedrooms have huge closets perfect for people who love shopping and tend to have a lot of clothes. Some closets come with a mirror while some don't. Some closets are built into the wall while some are just placed against it. A bedroom is not complete without a closet because this is furniture designed specifically to keep your clothes and other wardrobe paraphernalia safe.

3. Dressers. Thought not all bedrooms have dressers but this is one indispensable piece of bedroom furniture as well. This furniture is very fitting especially if the occupant is a woman or a couple. Dressers have mirrors and a seat. It also has enough space where one can store different beauty products and other body products like perfumes and lotions.

A woman usually uses this furniture when putting on makeup or applying facial products and it is all because of the mirror the dresser possesses. Dressers also have drawers where one can store other items like jewelry, important papers and even intimate items.

4. Nightstand. Otherwise known as the bedside table, this type of bedroom furniture is rather small and doesn't take too much space but is equally important. Nightstands are used for a variety of things which of course depends on its design. If a nightstand is designed with drawers one can use it for storing underwear, books, socks, even medications and flashlights. If a nightstand is merely a table then it can be used to hold a telephone, a bedside lamp, a book, a glass of water or even a simple picture frame.

So far those are the most common bedroom furniture that you will surely find in someone's bedroom but you might find other types of furniture as well. But without those basic bedroom furniture, a bedroom won't be a bedroom at all.
